Have been thinking of my trip to Berlin last summer, I learned a decent amount of German (Ja, ich kann spreche ein bisschen!)
Cool photo I took of Berliner Fernsehturm (big awesome pointy thing, the icon of Berlin)
Met a ton of cool people running around the streets of Berlin by my lonesome but actually spent most of my time in Munich.
Anyways I appreciate anyone who's favorited this little seemingly insignificant blog and promise good stuff is to come soon..
But in reality, I'd check this blog out in about 1 month from today
to all you guys for listening, DJ Considine

One of the things I've noticed about trying to making those beautifully complex melodies all trance artists want is that it's always good to play with scales. In this little beat I've created, I'm starting on the note A in the 4th octave with a simple plucked instrument in FL Studio 10's Sytrus plugin. I then have a repeating a-a-b-b note pattern above towards the top of the 5th octave followed by a consistent rhythmic pattern of A's in the 6th octave, between each bar I modulate the velocity between loud and soft for the a-a-b-b note pattern. It's great for any producer trying to hone their skills when it comes to buildup melodies before a drop, it seems as producers get creative nowadays, they are very good after the drop but don't put enough passion into creating that wonderful harmony that crashes into something totally new and surprising.

The Postive Leaning gives an at first wierd and almost mystical intro melody followed by a soothing heavy bass resonance, once the maid lead synth comes in, you'll be enthralled.
The Positive Leaning (E.P) for Kyle by DJ Considine
Blue Nebula E.P. arp-trance by DJ Considine part 1
Blue Nebula is similar in it's arpeggio buildup like in Positive Leaning, but it's much more patient and adds a bit of tenderness to the whole melody. The song could honestly have more drums if it weren't for being unable to sucessfully compress that fucking arp.

I've decided to get this thing running as I know many people of mine have been awaiting it. Here it is, complex, graspable, and put frankly - intelligently furious.
